Coffee-Infused Simple Syrup

Equipment

  • 1 Small to medium sized saucepan
  • 1 Silicone spoon/spatula
  • 1 Liquid measuring cup
  • 1 Dry Measuring cup
  • Containers

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 cup Black coffee

Instructions
 

  • Pour sugar into saucepan
  • Pour coffee over the sugar
  • Turn stove on medium to high heat, stirring mixture occasionally
  • Once the coffee sugar mixture boils, remove from heat.
  • Allow to cool in saucepan until about room temperature
  • Transfer coffee-infused simple syrup into airtight containers and store in refrigerator

Notes

If you prefer a thicker consistency to your syrup, once it has boiled, reduce to a simmer for about 10 minutes. This is perfect drizzled over ice cream! You can even pair this syrup with a drizzle of chocolate syrup to create the perfect mocha drink or sundae.
